With a simple one button operation, the U100 is small and portable and at 200 grams, excluding batteries, you really can take it anywhere. Operating from 2 AA batteries which, with average daily use of 30 minutes, will last up to 8 days, it provides you with total independence as there is no need to connect to the mains or the car.
The MicroAir U100 uses a mesh technology which makes it more efficient and comfortable for you to use. The mesh is a small metal plate with 1000 microscopic holes which the medication is pushed through at speed to form a visible mist. This vibrating mesh technology allows your medication to penetrate quickly and deeply into your lungs.
The revolutionary design allows for 360º operation which means that the MicroAir can be used at various angles, even lying down in bed.
Did we mention that the U100 is discreet and virtually silent making it perfect for the early hours, or those trips to the cinema, theatre and shops.
Omron nebulisers do not require an annual service.
The Mesh Cap should be cleaned after each inhalation and should be replaced after twelve months. Wash the cap in a mild solution of detergent and water then gently rinse in clean water. Shake off excessive liquid and leave to air dry on a clean, lint-free paper towel. It is important not to wash the mesh cap under running water. Some medications can easily remain on the mesh so once a week the mesh cap should be cleaned and disinfected by boiling in distilled water. Boil for 10 minutes then leave to air dry.
The Medication Container holds the liquid and secures the mesh cap. Manufactured from strong polycarbonate with titanium hinges, the medication bottle can be sterilised by boiling.
Made from strong polycarbonate, the Mask Adapter should be washed after each use and can be sterilised by boiling. It allows the Omron MicroAir U100 to attach the Omron Face Mask or MicroAir Mouthpiece.
The optional MicroAir U100 AC Adaptor allows the unit to operate from any mains supply worldwide and is ideal for those that regularly use their nebuliser at home. Simply remove the battery cover and batteries from the handset, place the main unit on the AC adaptor connector which will then click and lock into place. Remember never to plug and unplug the mains adaptor with wet hands.
Please note: The MicroAir U100 AC Adaptor does not charge batteries and is not compatible with the old MicroAir U22.
