A complete kit of accessories for your Philips nebuliser system. Each kit contains a disposable SideStream chamber, air tube and choice of adult mask, child mask or mouthpiece.
The SideStream nebuliser chamber offers faster drug delivery and shorter treatment times and can be used with all commonly prescribed respiratory medications.
The unique Venturi system enhances output by ensuring that 80% of the drug volume is less than 5 microns in size. The SideStream chamber has five aerosol producing jet holes instead of one, providing additional flow and speeding up treatment times. SideStream nebulisers can deliver 2.5ml of most medications within 7 minutes.
Unlike the durable SideStream, the disposable chamber cannot be boiled to sterilise but must be rinsed with clean water after each use.
The 180 cm air tube is manufactured from latex free medical grade plastic and connects your compressor to the Sidestream medication chamber. Please note that the tube should not be immersed in water as it is difficult to thoroughly dry.
The Philips Face Mask is manufactured from medical grade, latex free plastic and comfortably fits over your nose and mouth. The mouthpiece is also latex free.
The disposable SideStream Kit can be used for up to one month, so is ideal for anyone using a nebuliser in an assisted living facility.
